I really enjoyed my time at this beautiful hotel with stunning views and excellent service, where I could easily walk to the cable car and the nearby botanic gardens for a leisurely afternoon stroll.

We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who upgraded us to a 3 room suite with large veranda and superb view of the harbour. The hotel is old and historic but spotlessly clean, and the bathroom was huge.

It wasn't exactly cheap but still acceptable.

The location was perfect, with an very nice view from our balcony. The pool area is fantastic, and we loved the complementary spring water in our room. The bathrooms are fabulous, and we appreciated the nice teas and coffee supplied daily.

Additionally, the Wi-Fi signal was frustratingly spotty, feeling like it was throttled at times, though plugging a laptop into the room TV was a nice touch. The dinner options were also limited, with outdated menu info on the hotel’s website that didn’t match available offerings.
