Couples looking for old-world charm should consider this
We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who upgraded us to a 3 room suite with large veranda and superb view of the harbour. The hotel is old and historic but spotlessly clean, and the bathroom was huge.
It wasn't exactly cheap but still acceptable.

It’s a decent option for a short visit in Gibraltar, offering value for money. The swimming pool area is a great spot to relax and soak up the sun. If you need more time at breakfast, don’t hesitate to ask the staff.

missingWrote a review on 08 Augnoise disturbances
Despite the appealing amenities, I found sleep heavily interrupted by hallway noise, with conversations echoing just outside my door and doors slamming shut, which felt quite disruptive. Additionally, the Wi-Fi signal was frustratingly spotty, feeling like it was throttled at times, though plugging a laptop into the room TV was a nice touch. The dinner options were also limited, with outdated menu info on the hotel’s website that didn’t match available offerings.

During my stay, I was captivated by the stunning sea views from my room's balcony. The location made it easy to explore the nearby attractions, especially the beautiful botanical gardens, which were just a short walk away. Additionally, the dining experience was delightful, with a great breakfast menu and attentive service from the staff. However, I did find the hill leading to the pool quite steep, which might pose a challenge for some guests.

Impressive sea views complemented a spacious room with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped bathroom. The food throughout was top-notch, especially the juicy burgers, making dining in truly enjoyable. The staff exhibited exceptional service at every turn, from the concierge to the restaurant team, always eager to help. However, navigating the surrounding area can be challenging due to steep hills, and some amenities could use improvement, like the poolside dining options.

missingWrote a review on 26 Maystunning sea viewsuper friendly staffcrowded bar
We had an awesome time staying with friends! The stunning sea view from our balcony was unforgettable, and we loved exploring the nearby Ocean Village area. Breakfast was a real highlight with so many options. Just a heads-up, the hill to the pool is steep, but the staff were super friendly.
Our only downside was that during our stay, there was a wedding reception which made the bar super crowded and service slow, so it was tough to get drinks.
